More than one and a half years ago, I wrote in a blog post regarding Google: “Do I want to work there? Hell yes.”
Well, now I can say: Do I work there? Hell yes!
Starting October 2006, I’m working for Google Ireland Ltd. as a site reliability engineer. I’m moving to Dublin in two and a half weeks, and from there, I go to the Google headquarters in Mountain View, California, for three months for training. So expect me back in Dublin sometime in February.
The contract with my previous employer, kippdata GmbH, ended yesterday. All that is left for me now is to express my heartfelt thanks to them for the four years in the company, and wish them all the best.
